Well, as I did the map I thought about my life and the books I read. I was very excited because I wanted to tell my experiences to my classmates. In addition I was going to enjoy doing the reading map.As I lived in some villages around Spain I focused my reading map in Spain map.
I am going to add my complete reading map.
MY LITERATURE EXPERIENCE AROUND SPAIN
My first memory when I was a child, it was when my grandpa and my mother sang to me some nursery rums and other types of song; as “ Un elefante se balanceaba…” or “ El cocherito leré” for example. I was living in Daimiel during those moments. Moreover, I have enjoyed great moments with my grandpa.
Then, my father passed his public examination, when I was four years. For this, we moved to another place. The name of this place is Cortes de Pallás in Valencia. We were living for a year. There, I had a lot of difficulties in the schoolbecause I had a little dyslexia. Besides, I had difficulty to speak and to read because I had an attention deficit. I remember that my mother bought me “Teo Collection” but to be honest I did not read all books.
Later, we return to my village, Daimiel, and there I studied in the Primary school. In the school all the teacher sent to me different “Barco de vapor collection” books; for example: “El misterio de la casa encantada” and “El aprendiz de mago”. Nevertheless, my parents bought the “Los cinco collection” and “Disney collection” for me. I think that “Los cinco” was more fun than the “Disney”. I think because I had watched all Disney’s films. “Los cinco” are an adventure books and I liked it so much.
Years later, my parents, my brother and I left Daimiel and we went to live in Alcalá de Henares. Here, I finished the school and later I started high school. In the high school, my teachers wanted me to read some books related to history of literature. Some books that I had to read I did not like it and I think even I got
Nowadays, I study the last year in university and I am reading more than before but just another kind of reading, which I like. The types of book I like are Romantic and adventure books.

Hello Natalia! I have been reading your essay about your reading map and what most surprised to me have been the amount of places in which you have been living, it should be a great experience for you, and I am sure!
ResponderEliminarWhen I did my essay I also remember, as you, a lot of parts of my life that I had forgotten and so many books which accompanied me during my infancy. I would like to recommend you some books that I like too much: ‘’Memorias de un amigo inmaginario’’ ’’El diario de Ana Frank’’’’1984’’.These books will not disappoint you! :)
I also read in your essay about books like ''Varco de Vapor Collection’’, I think that there was books which we must to read at the school although you did not want read it, and this is not the best way to awake in students the pleasure of reading. Until I did not found one book that really hooked to me I cannot appreciate reading.
Moreover, I think that there are other methods to get students like reading. As you know, we have been working in some of them in literature’s classes like for example ’’ The library project’’, ‘’Story-teller’’ ‘’Poetry’’ etc. The thing is know how to approach reading to students in a funny way.

ResponderEliminarI think the Reading Map activity is a great topic to talk about in our Blogs. Honestly, I have to confess that in the very beginning when our teacher Raquel talked about it, I did not find any sense to the activity. However, when I started to write the essay that explains the map, I began to remember lots of books that I had read, and the surprising fact for me was to remember some of them that I really enjoyed their lecture and were my favourites books in that moment. I could not believe that I forgot about them.
Thanks to this activity we had the chance to move on into the past and remember different stories, moments, experiences, teachers, friends, activities even exams of our childhood and adolescence. The only thing that we had to do was remember some books.
PD: I am amazed reading the different places where you have lived!
